1- Worrying doesn't do any good, but trusting God does
Luke 12:22-24
22 And he said unto his disciples; Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall
eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God
feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
2- When you are tempted to worry, God will help you stand against it
1 Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not
suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape,
that ye may be able to bear it.
3- The Lord can free you from all your fears
Psalm 34:4
I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
4- Your problems aren't the end of the world, but the beginning of God's blessing
James 1:2-5
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and
it shall be given him.
5- We are saved by trusting. And trusting means looking forward to getting something
we don't yet have...for a man who already has something doesn't need to hope and trust
that he will get it.
Romans 8:24
For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
